Treatment Philosophy:
I believe that a holistic approach to pain management along with an understanding that each patient is unique and requires an individual treatment plan that utilizes all the modalities and tools available. I work together with the patient on their treatment options and goals to help them achieve their highest level of functioning so that they can return to doing things they enjoy in life.
Special Interests:
Alternative/complementary treatments and preventive remedies. Current scientific evidence for new treatments.
Professional Journey:
Throughout my life I have always had a desire to help people feel better. I knew I wanted to enter the medical field and started off as a nurse’s assistant. My passion to help others lead me to continue my education to a registered nurse and then to a nurse practitioner. My mother encouraged me throughout my journey and has been the biggest support as well as a mentor.
