John Kane, CRNA

Treatment Philosophy

John believes that everyone has the right ‘to tell their story’, to have their pain recognized, diagnosed, and specifically treated.

“It is important for these folks to understand that there are dedicated professionals here at Granite State Pain Associates who will work with them in a variety of ways to obtain relief from their persistent pain and the often terrible impact of their symptoms.”

John’s self-described style with patients is ‘informal’. Putting up walls between patient and provider is clearly unproductive in this field.

Special Interests:

The complexities of chronic pain management, the uniqueness of each patient’s problems, and, in particular, the more advanced treatments, such as vertebroplasty and spinal cord stimulation.

I have always liked the quote (paraphrased): ‘Don’t walk in front of me, I may not follow. Don’t walk behind me, I may not lead. Just walk beside me and we’ll work together.’ That’s how I like to approach patient care.
