Treatment Philosophy

“Chronic pain is a complex problem.  The goal of treatment is to partner with the patient to maximize function, minimize pain, and mitigate suffering.  This goal is accomplished through a multidisciplinary approach including interventional pain procedures, physical therapy, goal directed medical management, lifestyle modification, and cognitive behavioral therapy.  Given today’s opioid crisis and new CDC pain guidelines, opioid use should be minimized.”

Special Interests:

Special interest in interventional pain management, spinal cord stimulation, and cancer pain management.
