Treatment Philosophy

"Pain management can be most effective if the patient is motivated to be 'part of the team.' I see my role as finding a way to work with each patient to discover their unique motivators. Once on board, we can work together and find a way to help treat their pain."

Special Interests:

"The complexity of various pain syndromes, the use of different modalities in treating pain ( i.e., injections, medications, physical therapy, etc.). The more advanced treatments for pain management such as spinal cord stimulators. Treating each patient's pain as a unique experience and learning how best to incorporate their strengths into finding a solution to their pain."

Pain management has always been an interest of mine and I’m happy to have found a place to pursue that interest while concurrently serving the needs of my community.

Professional Journey

"I began as an orderly in a busy trauma and surgical intensive care unit in Boston, MA. This experience steered me toward a career in health care, initially as a pediatric surgical and ICU nurse, to taking care of adult heart surgery and transplant patients, and ultimately pursue a formal education to become a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist."

Frank's anesthesia experience has led him from taking care of complex surgical patients in big city operating rooms and teaching student nurse anesthetists, to practicing in rural New Hampshire.

"Pain management has always been an interest of mine and I’m happy to have found a place to pursue that interest while concurrently serving the needs of my community."
