UPDATE (12/7/11) - The Cocheco Valley Humane Society reports that they have already received $10,000 in donations. Thank you everyone!
If you plan on donating to Cocheco Valley Humane Society this holiday season, rest assured that your donation will be matched (up to $20,000) by Dr. Michael O’Connell, CEO of PainCare in Somersworth. Dr. O’Connell and CVHS have successfully carried out the holiday appeal matching donation program in one form or another numerous times over the past ten years. Last year, the $20,000 limit was matched and exceeded by a substantial amount, much to the excitement of the CVHS staff and the animals! "We are incredibly grateful for Dr. O’Connell’s continued support of our mission to provide shelter and care to animals in need," said Loretta Allison, Executive Director of CVHS. "His generosity is inspiring and reminds us of the tremendous impact each one of us can make in the lives of animals and that we have the power to provide them a second chance."
