Purpose/Goal:  To impact the delivery of effective pain management by exploring and exchanging practical and current information relative to pain management principles, techniques and patient care coordination

Target Audience:  Healthcare Providers interested in Pain Management -- Physicians, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, MA’s, and PCP staff

Objectives:  At the conclusion of the session, the participant will be able to:

  • Discuss principles and techniques of pain management, including various medical, technical, and adjunctive modalities.
  • Discuss options in coordination of care, including roles of PCP and pain specialist.
  • Discuss the use of narcotic contracts.
  • Review case discussions.
