Purpose/Goal:  To impact the delivery of effective pain management by exploring and exchanging practical and current  information relative to pain management in the primary care setting and pain management therapies and technologies.

Target Audience:  Healthcare Providers interested in Pain Management:  Physicians, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, MAs, PCP staff.

Objectives:  At the conclusion of the session, the participant will be able to:

  • Discuss a physical therapy philosophy for pain management.
  • Discuss the physical therapist’s role vs. the patient’s role in managing pain.
  • Discuss physical therapy treatments for management of pain.
